Dust Solutions reduces the risk of contamination with Covid-19 by the newly developed Dust Solutions GermCube with HEPA 14 filter. By continuously filtering the air in a room six times an hour through a HEPA H14 filter unit, we reduce the amount of virus and bacteria in the air by approximately 99%. However, the filter does not fully protect against transmission by droplet-shaped particles coming out of the mouth at a short distance. By simply having a normal conversation around the lunch or meeting table, viruses and, to a lesser extent, bacteria remain in the air for a long time without sinking to the ground. With the Dust Solutions GermCube UVC-W you create a Clean Air Zone in the room that reduces the risk of transmission. The HEPA H14 filter unit separates 99.995% of particles up to 0.1 micrometer in size. This includes viruses that are aerosolised into fine particles. All HEPA H14 filters are certified and leak tested. The ingenuity and effectiveness of the specially developed hood stems from a combination of laminar and temperature controlled airflow. The air is extracted from a lower level to the filter unit where the temperature is slightly lower than at 1.7-2m above the floor where the clean air is let out. The cleaned air is distributed over the table because of the power of the fan in the filter unit and because the colder air tends to descend. This means that you can regulate the air volume to prevent draughts and still distribute the air flow evenly across the table.
